Little Sister's Dolls Wedding Cookies

Cookies Level of Difficulty: Easy This is my mother's recipe for what we always called "Wedding Cookies"

Ingredients:

2 Sticks BUTTER 1/4C Confectioner's Sugar 1 TBS Water 2 C Flour 1 C Nuts ( Pecans are what I use, chopped)

Mixing Instructions:

Cream butter and sugar Add water and flour to creamed mixture Add in nuts Roll into 1" balls

Cooking Instructions:

Cook at 400 degrees until done.  DO NOT BROWN Roll in powdered sugar while hot Roll in 2nd time in powdered sugar when cooled

Serving Suggestions:

Well in the south, these have always been served at bridal showers and wedding receptions, but they are great for the Holidays - the white powdered sugar resembles snow and really sets the tone for the Christmas spirit!
